ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking to recruit a highly organized, analytical, and customer-focused Commercial Manager with high integrity and a strong self-driven mindset.
The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to drive commercial strategy, support business growth initiatives, and ensure effective execution of key projects within the organization.
The successful candidate will be based at the Nairobi Headquarters Office.
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for both commercial strategy and executive support functions, requiring a dynamic individual capable of:
- Driving business growth initiatives
- Maximizing revenue opportunities
- Providing administrative support to the Group Chief Commercial Officer
The role involves leading assigned projects and overseeing the effective execution of commercial initiatives while reporting directly to the Group Chief Commercial Officer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and execution of commercial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Independently manage and execute commercial activities and projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread commercial proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Facilitate communication between the Group Chief Commercial Officer, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and risks.
- Manage and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assist in organizing, monitoring, and tracking commercial projects and initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, and present data to support informed decision-making.
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned from time to time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Previous experience supporting senior management or executive roles is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership or project management experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
