BOOST FOR AFRICA GOLF PROGRAM AS YOUNG GOLFERS RECEIVE GOLF EQUIPMENT

Reeyow Limited, a Nairobi-based Technology Auction House has donated golf clubs worth an estimate Kshs. 200,000 towards Africa Golf Program.   

Speaking during the donation handover ceremony held at Golf Park, Nairobi, Reeyow CEO and Co-founder Joseph Witness Wandera said his company’s annual CSR Program aims at empowering the disadvantaged in the society through various initiatives among them sports, food and clothing programmes.

“We are pleased to present these golf clubs to the young professional golfers who make our country proud through excelling in various golf tournaments. Reeyow was inspired by the noble cause that Africa Golf Program (AGP) does in mentoring the economically underprivileged children,” said Wandera.

Wandera assured that Reeyow Limited would continue to provide the golf equipment to AGP every year for the beneficiaries to proceed with their trainings.

Receiving over 50 golf clubs, AGP founder Rose Naliaka thanked Reeyow Limited for partnering with AGP to boost the foundation with more equipment.

Also present at the ceremony was Jules Delahaije, one of AGP’s Board of Directors, who is also the CEO and Chairman of SGA Security lauded Reeyow Limited’s collaboration to invest in children’s talents in realizing their potential.

Formerly The Naliaka Golf Academy, AGP is a foundation that has nurtured boys and girls from Nairobi’s lower-income neighbourhoods, some of whom are the top 10 female golfers in Kenya. The Program was founded by a renowned female golfer, the legendary Rose Naliaka.
